THE AWARD PROCESS

If your organisation is passionate about gender equity then you are eligible to enter. Simply nominate yourself and select the most appropriate category to enter.

We have highlighted certain sectors where the gender pay gap is still really high ( 22-24%) because we want to showcase those companies doing better than the average. Is that yours?

Individuals must be nominated by someone else. So as you are nominating your organisation, think about those individuals who are truly making a difference and let’s shine a light on their behaviour.

HOW IT WORKS

For organisations the survey forms the basis of the submission. Finalists will be selected on the basis of those ranking most highly. Once a short list is selected we will be coming back to the you for a final submission showcasing all the highlights you have achieved.

For Individuals, this is a 2-step process. These high achievers must be nominated by someone else. They will then be advised of their nomination and asked to submit the highlights of their achievements and to discuss how they go about encouraging gender equity.

THE JUDGING

The Recalibrate Gender Equity Awards are independently judged by experienced Corporate and Business professionals.
To ensure there is no conflict of interest judges are not allowed to judge a category in which their organisation operates. Once submissions are closed, a shortlist will be created of the top entries (of the highest calculated scored submissions) and this shortlist will be supplied for the first phase of the judging process.
Our judging panels will individually assess applications before meeting to discuss each application and determine shortlisted finalists.
Data collated in the below survey will only be used for the purposes of undertaking the judging process for the Recalibrate Awards.
Auditing of the judging will be conducted by KPMG.

AWARDS NIGHT 20TH NOVEMBER

Gender Equity encompasses equity for all genders, symbolised by the infinity symbol representing the wide spectrum of inclusivity.  We strive to use gender-inclusive language, however, to allow for reader friendliness of our site, we often refer to “male” and “female”.  Corresponding terms apply in principle to all genders in the interests of equal treatment.

This does not imply discrimination in any way.  Persons of all genders may feel equally addressed by the contents of our website.  The abbreviated form of language does not represent any valuation, but serves merely for editorial purposes and better readability and thus inclusion.

We believe in equal treatment and equal fairness for all.  We thank you for your understanding and support in making the world a more inclusive place!
